Reunion Advisory #2.

Dear Classmates,

I am writing you this e-mail in behalf of the Sorsogon National High School Class 1984.

As you probably know, our batch will be next year's host to the SNHS General Alumni Homecoming. In line with this, we need to raise money for the affair, which include expenses for the traditional Black Saturday Parade, the Alumni Luncheon, the Grand Alumni Ball and the Family Day Activities on Easter Sunday.

We appeal to you and your family's generosity to help finance the cost of this affair, according to your means. Please fill up the attached form to confirm your pledge and your preferred mode of payment.

The current estimated budget for the entire event, which we plan to be simple yet meaningful, is now running to approximately P250,000. Our projection is for the expenses to reach P300,000 by next year. Attached is the detailed summary of activities for the reunion and the projected expenses for each activity.

Alternatively, you can also choose to sponsor any of the activity listed or donate in kind, whatever is comfortable to you and your family.

We will respect whatever decision you make.

Very sincerely,

Marissa Casals-Kooiman
Chairman, International Fundraising Committee
Batch '84 e-group moderator

---------------------------------------------------

TOTAL ESTIMATED COST FOR THE FAMILY DAY CELEBRATION : P80,000 - P100,000

TOTAL RUNNING FIGURE FOR THE WHOLE AFFAIR: MORE OR LESS P250,000

NOTE: Ini tabi na projected expenses, based mostly sa expenses san batch '83 and on current prizes. it's a year to go, we should have provision for prize increase. So realistically, we are looking at something like P300,000.

According to Patrick igwa kita sin around P43,000 sa bank account ta. this is mostly contribution from those who regularly attend the yearly reunions nan san mga padara san iba ta na classmates from abroad. So, technically speaking we need to raise P200,000-250,000.

An mga gin lista didi na activities amo ini an mga basic expectations sa silver jubilarians. wara kita didi gin include na magarbo. regarding the contribution, an stand san class president ta, voluntary. Based on the projected expenses, no. of people na kaya mag contribute and our own financial capability, please try to contribute as early as possible para mabatugan ta na an leg work. we are totally helpless kun wara kita or limited an running fund. puede man tabi donation in kind.

for example, if you want to donate prizes for the games, or you want to foot the bill for the photo exhibit or video. puede man tabi magprovide sin services such as basi may gusto mag volunteer to be the official professional photographer or magkuwa sin video instead of us hiring someone or a group for this.

puede rin tabi magpili kamo sin committee and donate directly to that project. for example, si marissa nagsabi na na ma-contribute siya financially to the souvenir program. ako an personal donation ko will also go to the souvenir program which I chair. puede man for someone to foot the expenses for the mineral water for the parade or the tarpaulins for the banners. kanya kanya tabi diskarte according to our means or interest. please advise early kun nano an gusto na mode of contribution para we can also plan ahead.

Centralized tabi an financial contribution sa bank account san batch. Nena, patrick: pls post the bank name and branch and account no. again. for the committee chairmen, pls. give us a feedback kun tama ini na mga estimates based on actual prizes in the market. nan basi may gusto kamo idagdag or i-correct regarding the assumptions made here kay puro pa ini theoretical.

an masunod na chat is april 26. marissa will post the time. pls. join this chat para magka-iristoryahan pa nin mas detalyado an mga plano.
